This cute as a button little man is Paco and he is hoping to find a loving forever home! Paco likes to be a companion to his people as opposed to actively playing. He does like to go on walks and enjoys spending short bursts outdoors. He is still a work in progress as far as his potty training and he will benefit from crate training to help him with this. He is used to spending time in a crate and it is a bit of a security blanket for him. Paco has red itchy skin as a result of allergies. We are trying him on a grain-free, chicken-free diet in the hopes that it will help some. However, our vet feels that he has multiple environmental allergies and will need ongoing treatment. It will also be best if his new home can take him to a specialist for evaluation. He’ll need regular medicated baths to help soothe his skin. Paco likes to act tough with new dogs but quickly settles into being relatively disinterested. He’ll have to meet any dogs in his new home to make sure they’ll be a good match. Paco can likely live with a confident cat that will hold its ground with him. Paco is not a fan of rabbits. He’ll also do best in a home with kids aged 10 and up who will be patient with him when they first meet. If you would like to meet Paco, stop by the shelter and grab an application!
