Pet Food Bank

WHS operates a pet food bank for Whatcom County resident’s needing short-term assistance providing pet food for their pets. Food is distributed on a first come, first serve basis at both shelter locations during normal business hours.

Unopened bags and cans of pet food and pet supplies are always welcome and appreciated. Donations may be dropped off at either shelter location during normal business hours.

Pet food donations are tax deductible.

Speakers Bureau

Representatives from WHS are always happy to speak at community events such at garden clubs, rotary luncheons, classrooms, etc. Topics range from general animal care, WHS programs and services, animal welfare laws and legislation and dog/cat behavior.
