Walk on the Wild Side!
Coexisting with Wildlife this Winter
Tuesday, January 24 @ 6:00-7:00 pm

Presented by Alysha Elsby, Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and Abbey Corbin, Wildlife Care Technician, this workshop will provide you with all the information you need to keep our native wildlife safe & happy this winter. They will discuss feeding wild birds & mammals, nuisance control and provide an overview of the work the WHS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center performs, including the most common species seen in the winter months.

Kids Valentine’s Day Workshop
Saturday, February 11 @ 12:00-2:00 pm

Kids ages 6-9 are invited to join us for this special workshop.  Drop your kids off and our staff & volunteers will ensure they have a great time!  There will be fun crafts & games, animal visitors and refreshments.  We’re even making valentine’s for the shelter animals!

What the Woof?  Barkology 101

Loving and Living with a Fearful Dog

Presented by Michael Nichols, Certified Professional Dog Trainer and the brains behind The Dog Guy, local positive based dog training, this workshop will explore the scientific theory and application of fear in dogs, what to do and not do when a dog is afraid and things you can do to help a fearful dog in your life.  With plenty of time for conversation, come with your questions ready!
