General Festival Information:

PARKING: Parking available at the following neighboring businesses (Two Paws Up and THANKS to them for their support!): Builder’s Alliance, Western Forest Products, Greenbrier Construction, Matrix Services, and Growsource. Look for parking attendants and signs. Parking is limited, so plan accordingly, leave extra time to find parking and please bring your patience! ADA Parking available at WHS shelter.
NOTE: We DO NOT offer shuttle services to and from the DDS festival area, which can be a bit of a walk from parking areas. Additionally, the Dog Days of Summer Festival is held on a dirt/grass field where the ground can be uneven.
EVENT REMINDERS – To make sure that both human and canine attendees have the best day ever, please follow these guidelines:
- Please keep your dog leashed at all times and pick up after them. Extra poop bags will be available at the WHS booth.
- Please DO NOT bring reactive/aggressive dogs to the DDS event.
- Please DO NOT bring unvaccinated dogs to the DDS event.
- Please DO NOT bring female dogs in heat to the DDS event.
Funds raised at WHS’s Dog Days of Summer Festival benefit the domestic, wild, and farm animals in our care. Thank you so much for your support!
Please note: Due to space limitations, we are only able to offer vendor booths to event sponsors, animal-related businesses, animal-related causes, and animal welfare advocacy and rescue groups with a valid 501(c)(3) status. Dog Trainer vendors must train using only positive, reward-based training methods. Food vendors must commit to serving only vegetarian or vegan food at this event. Thank you for your understanding!
Interested in being a vendor or learning more about the event? Please email our Development Manager, Paige, at development@whatcomhumane.org or call 360-733-2080 ext. 3014.
