Dog Days of Summer Festival: 2026 Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in joining us as a vendor at WHS’s Dog Days of Summer! This annual community festival is the most pupular in the Pacific Northwest for dogs and their families! At Dog Days, WHS hosts a full slate of canine games & contests, pet-themed vendors and exhibitions, and delicious animal-friendly food—it’s a doggone good time for the whole family!

Date: Sunday, September 13, from 11:00-3:00 PM

Location: Whatcom Humane Society | 2172 Division Street, Bellingham, WA 98226

For Profit Vendor Fee: $100  | Non-profit Vendor Fee: $25 | Limited spaces available, so don't delay!


Booth Requirements - Please Read Thoroughly:

  • Vendors must be pet-related (i.e., pet products, services, or organizations).
  • Dog trainers & training facilities must only promote and utilize positive, reward-based training methods.
  • Pet sitters must be licensed and bonded.
  • Food vendors must serve vegetarian and/or vegan food only.
  • Contents of booth must fit within the 15’ X 15’ dimensions of the space provided. Food vendors exempt.
  • Vendor must provide their own tent, table, chair and supplies, including water.
  • Event sponsors will be provided a table, tent, and chairs.
  • Non-profits must be a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
  • Set up starts at 8:00 AM. All booths must be completely set up and ready by 10:30 AM.
  • Vendors must staff their booth during the entire event; you may not leave booth unattended.
  • No refunds on cancellations 30 days prior to event.
  • No electricity or running water is available.
  • The festival will take place rain or shine, so please plan accordingly!
  • If you are planning on having a vehicle as part of your booth area, please contact us for prior approval. Display vehicles must have company name or logo and be a functional part of your display in order to stay on the field during the event.
  • For safety reasons, once vehicles are on the field they must remain parked until the end of the event and most attendees have gone. This includes food trucks.
  • Please note: Vendors must provide a copy of their insurance listing Whatcom Humane Society as additionally insured. Please reach out to Paige if you have any questions or concerns with this request. Thank you!

WHS promotional efforts for the festival include the following:

  • Advertised on WHS website, email campaigns, and social media
  • Posters distributed throughout Whatcom County
  • Event banner over Holly Street for 2 weeks prior to event
  • Event signage on various advertisement boards in Whatcom County
  • Community calendars throughout Whatcom and Skagit Counties
  • A series of advertisements in various local papers/magazines
