2026 Woof & Whiskers Awards Luncheon

Please join us for our community awards luncheon to recognize & celebrate individuals and businesses who have shown an outstanding commitment to animals in our shelter & community.

This year’s honorees are:

Barkley Haggen Bakery, for their sweet collaboration to promote shelter animal adoption through creative cake designs featuring domestic and farm animals cared for by the Whatcom Humane Society.
Spay/Neuter Northwest and Whatcom Feline Alliance, for their collaborative TNR (trap, neuter, release) efforts to responsibly help feral cats in our community and their tireless efforts to reduce pet overpopulation in our region.
Whatcom County Courthouse Facility Dog, Davie, for his professionally trained work with the Whatcom County Prosecutor's Office to provide emotional support and a calming influence for witnesses during the investigation and prosecution of crimes.

Vegetarian lunch provided, with a $25 suggested donation per person to help offset event costs. Seats are limited, so RSVP is required: Please register using the form below by Friday, Feb. 27.
