Tricks for Treats Workshop with Laurel Saville

Treats and other forms of positive reinforcement can do so much more than just reward your dog for sitting when asked. A piece of cheese, favorite toy, or even an open door can help you communicate more precisely, have more fun, and get better results, all while increasing your dog's motivation, responsiveness, and confidence.
In this workshop led by Laurel Saville, you'll learn how to:
- Teach basic cues, build behavior chains, and change annoying behaviors like barking or leash pulling
- Be sure you're rewarding or thanking, not bribing your dog
- Incorporate training into your regular daily routine
- Avoid common mistakes and misunderstandings
- Keep things fun for the whole family
