Woof & Whiskers Awards Luncheon

Please join us for a beautiful day in the neighborhood at our annual awards luncheon, where we'll be recognizing and celebrating our 2025 honorees who have shown an outstanding commitment to improving the lives of domestic, farm, and wild animals throughout our community:

• Whatcom Million Trees Project for their diligent hard work and ongoing efforts at the WHS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center planting hundreds of tree saplings to help transform 12 acres of hay field into native tree canopy and restore wildlife habitats.
• Gear Heads of Whatcom County for their generous longtime support of Whatcom Humane Society and other community organizations through their annual classic car show.
• Penny Wise for opening her heart and home to Mabel the cow and providing invaluable assistance to Whatcom Humane Society staff and volunteers during Mabel's legendary rescue.

This event takes place at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club (3729 Meridian St, Bellingham, WA 98225) on Friday, March 7, from 12:00-1:30 PM. There is no cost to attend and a vegan lunch will be provided. Seating is limited and RSVP is required: Please RSVP by Friday, February 28, using the ticket form below.

This year's lunch includes a mixed greens salad; vegan torte with portobello mushroom, eggplant, pepper, and onion with house marinara and steamed jasmine rice; and coconut passionfruit panna cotta.
